We are the first rescue-only veterinary hospital and have proven it is profitable and vital to the community. Veterinary Technician's Assistant
at least one year of professional animal experience preferred
We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician's Assistant for a Monday - Friday position. (No weekend duty!) You must be compassionate, love animals and be comfortable handling and restraining dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds, even when fractious. A strong work ethic is required along with punctuality.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Sweeping and mopping hospital
Laundry
Cleaning/autoclaving surgical instruments
Assisting Technician in collecting samples/restraining animals
Setting up fecal exams and running bloodwork
Walking, feeding, and medicating dogs/cats
Cleaning kennels
Taking out trash
Wiping counters and cleaning sinks
Running animals from reception to kennel
Discharging patients from basic surgeries (spay/neuter)
Pay: $14.50/hr
Veterinary Technician
at least one year of hospital experience required

This job requires at least 1 year experience as a Veterinary Technician in a hospital setting. Shelter experience is a plus. You must be comfortable handling all sizes and breeds of dogs and cats as well as working with fearful animals.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Obtaining history from foster
Invoicing
Performing x-rays, bloodwork, fecal exams, urinalysis in house
Monitoring anesthesia
Venipuncture/Catheter placement
Generalized knowledge of common medications
Care of hospitalized patients
Animal restraint for veterinarians
General cleaning of facility
Communication with fosters/director of rescue group
Pay: $18.00/hr
Associate Veterinarian
This is an excellent opportunity for a tired veterinarian wanting to love their profession again. Our hospital is one of a kind in that while we function like a private practice with all the same equipment and toys, our clientele spends five to six figures on their pets. Our clients are non-profits and our patients are homeless. We are rarely told 'no' to a procedure or surgery and our patients are truly in need of heroes. Euthanasia is rare and is only done when needed, not for convenience. We hope to move into a $8 million dollar facility on four acres in 2024 and can't do it without a third veterinarian!
Now to the nitty-gritty:
$125,000 annual salary
