Mazie’s Mission Press Release:

Mazie’s Mission Receives The All Star Dog Rescue Celebration Grant on Behalf of the Petfinder Foundation.
Mazie’s Mission, Frisco, has received a $5,000 grant from The All Star Dog Rescue Celebration on behalf of the Pet Finder Foundation to support our S.O.S. (Shelter Outreach & Support) program which allows us to continue saving severely injured animals and to help them find good homes.  Through the S.O.S. program we help our partner shelters with severely injured animals by providing the animals with immediate medical care and recovery time in a foster home. Once healed and ready for their forever homes, the animals return to the shelter for adoption. The S.O.S. program frees up our volunteer fosters to take on more medical foster cases, and allows the shelters to save animals they wouldn’t have been able to save under normal circumstances.
We, at Mazie’s Mission, are honored to receive this grant and cannot wait to help additional animals in the S.O.S. program and other severely injured animals in the shelters with the funding provided by The All Star Dog Rescue Celebration and the Petfinder Foundation. We know lives will be impacted and saved that otherwise wouldn’t have had a chance.
Watch for animals who are impacted by this grant in additional blog posts and on our Facebook Page. We can’t wait to see what the summer brings, and we are truly humbled by the generosity of the grant and support of these two amazing organizations.
